There are places that cast a spell over you straight away: The former Jägerheim at 1,200 meters, directly below the Feldberg summit, is one of those rare gems. Easy to reach in 12 minutes from the center of Hinterzarten to the Rinken parking and furtheron via a private road that is only open to guests, you can park right in front of the house and you are already in the middle of nature. In summer, the Rinken is the central starting point for hikes and mountain biking in the entire Black Forest region. In winter, the groomed cross-country ski trail starts here with tours to Schluchsee, Feldsee, Hinterzarten, Titisee or even to the Belchen. The entrance for touring skiers for the summits of the northern Feldberg is on the doorstep. Cowbells from the cows on the Baldenweger Buck, the snorting of the horses on the hotel's own pasture or the rippling of the stream contribute to the special atmosphere. The house is supplied with fresh, clear water from its own spring. After two years of intensive core renovation, we are happy that we will finally have the house in new splendor in October 2022. The old Black Forest house is located at 1,200 meters on the Rinken below the Feldberg summit. You can also look forward to our outdoor sauna area (surcharge) with cool spring water or to a delicious meal that you can prepare in our barbecue area.
